TRAINING FOR A COMPANY STARTING SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT
THE PURPOSE OF THE TRAINING IS TO:
- Familiarize representatives of companies intending to start developing a franchising, agency, or distribution system with the specific conditions of running business activity based on a system.
- Discuss particular stages and the scope of works connected with system development.
- Present the possible chances and threats that a company deciding to run its business through system development may face, and discuss the most common problems that may arise in the cooperation between a franchisor and franchisees.
FORM OF THE TRAINING:
A seven-hour training and consultancy session for 4 to 6 participants, including:
- A lecture on the conditions and rules of cooperation in franchising systems, illustrated with examples of companies operating on the Polish market.
- Detailed information about the particular stages of franchising system’s development.
- Discussion on the construction of a franchising system’s business model.
- Individual consulting for training participants on subjects included in the training’s scope.
TRAINING PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE:
- training materials in electronic form,
- a model of a franchising contract, together with the table of contents,
- the table of contents of an operational manual,
- The European Code of Ethics for Franchising.
DETAILED PROGRAM OF THE TRAINING
- examination of franchising systems’ market in Poland,
- what franchising is and how it differs from other forms of business activity,
- what requirements a company deciding to create a franchising system has to meet,
- chances and threats for a company deciding to develop through the sale of licenses,
- preparation of a franchising system’s business concept,
- the contents of a franchise package (the contract, the operational manual, the business model),
- rights and obligations of the parties to a franchise contract – practical aspects of cooperation within the framework of franchise agreements,
- contents of an operational manual,
- pilot outlets and their importance for the development of a franchising system,
- the business model of the franchisor’s company and the franchisee’s outlet,
- what requirements a candidate for a franchisee has to meet (candidate’s profile) and recruitment methods,
- franchising system’s marketing (methods of selling franchises),
- most common cases of conflicts in cooperation within franchising systems and their causes
